Sagar Chopra co-founded Simsan Ventures with his brother in 2021, leaving his accounting job to back diverse founders. Prior to Simsan, Sagar worked as an auditor, providing tax advice and preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS for SMEs to PLCs in domestic and international markets. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Sagar brings expertise in company valuation, financial projections, and accounts analysis to Simsan. He also grew his own profitable pharmaceuticals SME. Sagar envisions a changing of the guard in the UK's venture capital scene and initiated Simsan’s mentorship programme for emerging VCs. His approach to investing was featured in *Silicon Valley Times*.
