Alan Hudson founded Mercuri (formerly GMG Ventures) in 2017 in London. Mercuri's first fund was £42m and was anchored by The Scott Trust. Mercuri launched its second fund of £50m in May 2023, with the British Business Bank as its cornerstone investor.
