The firm seeks out premier opportunities ahead of the curve by harnessing a trusted network of domain experts and founders. Their investment policy focuses on Israeli technology-based companies led by top-tier tech experts they know personally. They require validated technology, looking for a working product or MVP, and target Pre-seed or Seed stage companies, leading or following rounds with SAFE/Equity instruments (mostly capped at $10M valuation). Market validation is crucial, with preference given to companies demonstrating initial revenue, pilots, LOIs, design partners, or user references with a clear Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. They are sector-agnostic but have a particular interest in Enterprise software, Defense, Cyber/Security, and Deep-tech. They aim for "short wins," seeking exits during Series A or B rounds if terms are favorable, and may offer follow-on investments through a separate Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). Their "Magic Zone" deal-flow process is a 3-tier validation system. It starts with a Champion Recommendation from trusted domain experts or selected VCs already committed to the company, then the ILAC CEO runs a second validation process on the team, product, and market using their internal domain experts network. Finally, their experienced investment committee makes the final investment decision.
