Futurum Ventures

Futurum Ventures is a tech fund that evolved from Wiski Capital. Wiski Capital, founded in 2017, invested in strong tech entrepreneurs in Norway, with Salvesen&Thams (S&T) becoming the majority owner in 2019. Wiski's success, alongside a group of tech investors including Petter Fornæss, Ivar Arnesen, and Magnus Svendsen, led to the formation of Futurum Ventures. These individuals, along with Monika Inde Zsak and Lars Lydersen, joined forces to create a beneficial launchpad for tech companies, leveraging complementary skill sets and experience. Futurum Ventures Fund I capped its final close at MNOK 500 in late 2023. The firm seeks to invest in visionary entrepreneurs building and scaling successful tech companies, emphasizing a passion for technology and experience to make a difference. They focus on companies with global potential, spanning from Seed to Series A stages. Their investment areas include technologies benefiting the environment and society, specifically: Efficient Future: Software addressing high-value, cumbersome, and digitally underserved processes. Digital and Connected Future: Smart hardware sensing and connecting, aggregating and structuring data, and machine learning and optimization of decisions. Clean and Sustainable Future: Driving transition from fossil fuels to renewables, decarbonizing value chains, transitioning into circular economy, and contributing to biodiversity.
