Dirk Meurer

Dirk Meurer is a Managing Partner at Vorwerk Ventures, joining the firm in early 2007 as the second team member. He possesses over 25 years of international investment management experience in venture capital and private equity. He has played a key role in the firm's investments in Meinauto, HelloFresh, Gestigon, and Neato Robotics. Currently, he oversees the fund's investments in habyt, Smartfrog, Rebike, Thermondo, Ottonova, and others. Before Vorwerk Ventures, Dirk managed an extensive emerging markets investment portfolio, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa, at Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft. His career began at Deutsche Bank's venture capital arm, DVC Deutsche Venture Capital, where he was a Partner responsible for investments in digital technology companies. Dirk holds an MBA from ebs European Business School, graduating with distinction.
