Elana Steinbach is an Investor Relations Associate at Viola Ventures, a position she has held since 2025. Her responsibilities include managing communications with existing Limited Partners (LPs) and contributing to the expansion of Viola's investor base, both globally and locally. Before joining Viola, Elana was a Senior Consultant at Argentum Consultants, where she assisted deep-tech startups in securing non-dilutive funding. Her work involved grant strategy, proposal writing, and managing projects with the Israeli Innovation Authority and EU programs. Elana was also an early team member at the Maayan Fund, a student-led investment fund at the Hebrew University, where she helped build its operations and support its early growth. She participated in a joint program between McGill University and the Hebrew University that explored different approaches to entrepreneurship in Montreal and Israel. Elana holds a B.A. in Business Management and Jewish History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Viola Ventures is an early-stage fund in Israel with $1.5B under management and over 20 years in the tech scene. They have invested in over 150 companies including ironSource, Payoneer, Redis, Pagaya, Lightricks and Immunai. Viola Ventures focuses on fueling early-stage startups.
