Erki Mölder graduated from the University of Tartu in 1997 with degrees in Corporate Finance and Investments, and Money and Banking. He has been involved in healthcare and life sciences since 1999, starting as CEO of Quattromed, which he helped grow from a University of Tartu spin-off to a regional laboratory operating in three countries with over 200 employees before its acquisition by Synlab in 2013. Since 2013, Erki has invested in healthcare business models, both in seed-stage health tech (first as an angel, then with Verge as their European Venture Partner in 2018) and later-stage healthcare build & buy deals. He has been a member of Estonian Association of Business Angels EstBAN since 2013. Erki has held executive and non-executive positions with nonprofit and for-profit organizations, including Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Enterprise Estonia and CEO of TREV-2 Group. He is the Founder of Health Economy Association (2019) and Health Founders (2020). Since 2020, Erki serves as a Supervisory Council member of Rigas Austrumu Kliniska Universitates Slimnica. He brings startup and investing experience to Verge, from idea to M&A, across multiple healthcare subsectors and markets.
