Sotiris is responsible for the overall business strategy and operations of TECS Capital, with a dedicated focus on long-term value creation. He brings over two decades of experience in transformative technology and venture investments, combining entrepreneurial leadership with a proven investment track record across multiple technology sectors. His expertise extends to product development, innovative business models, and early-stage financing of high-potential startup teams. As co-founder of a VC-backed GIS company, Sotiris successfully directed financial and operational strategy, driving growth and investor value. In his subsequent role as Executive Vice President of a leading Greek business incubator, he managed a diverse portfolio of high-growth companies, supporting founders through critical stages of scaling and international expansion. He has consistently played a pivotal role in advancing innovation projects and supporting entrepreneurial ecosystems both in Greece and across Europe. Sotiris holds a BSc in Electrical and Computing Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MBA from Imperial College Business School. His industry engagement includes serving on the board of the Association of ICT Companies in Northern Greece (SETPE). He is currently a jury member for the European Commission’s EIC Accelerator, evaluating and supporting breakthrough European ventures. He is fluent in Greek, English, and French.
