Espen Malmo

Espen Malmo is a co-founder of Skyfall Ventures and has been instrumental in developing the firm from an angel network into a venture firm with multiple funds under management. He has evaluated over 10,000 startups and led or been closely involved in many of Skyfall's investments, including Riff, Firi, Parahelp, and Starflow. Espen holds a Master’s degree in cyber security and data communication (ComTech) from NTNU and UCLA. His master's thesis, written in 2012/2013, explored the technical and economic foundations of Bitcoin and blockchain. He approaches venture investing with a technical mindset and a systems-level perspective and is deeply engaged in blockchain, artificial intelligence, and energy tech.
