Sophie Dürr

Sophie is an Investment Manager at Simon Capital and based in Berlin. Prior to joining Simon Capital, she built experience across the venture ecosystem, starting her career at the PE/VC advisory firm Orbit Partners in London. She then joined the deeptech pre-seed fund First Momentum in Karlsruhe and later supported B2B startups across Series A–C at Endeit Capital in Hamburg and Berlin, as well as in an interim role at NGP Capital in Silicon Valley. She holds an MSc in IT Management from Lancaster University and an MA in Marketing Management from ISM Munich. Sophie enjoys working with founders who combine bold ideas with pragmatic execution, especially in overlooked or unglamorous spaces. Outside of work, you will find her cooking, swimming, or backpacking.
