Cris De Luca joined Sanofi Ventures in 2020 as a Partner, focusing on investments in Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence. He has over 20 years of experience in healthtech dealmaking, company creation, scaling AI-driven emerging technologies, and creating innovation platforms. Previously, Cris was a founding member of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, serving as Global Head of Digital Innovation. Before that, he spent six years at Novartis, leading emerging technology programs within Research Informatics. He co-founded Ultra Light Startups, a startup venture pitch accelerator. Cris was named to the Boston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list and recognized as a Top 40 Healthcare Transformer by MM&M Magazine. He is actively involved at the board level in various capacities across leading AI and digital health companies including Aetion, Carbon Health, Click Therapeutics, Empatica, Evidation, Medisafe, Nucleai, Omada Health, QuantHealth, and Trial Library. Cris holds a M.Sc. in Computer Information Sciences from Boston University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Suffolk University.
