Klaus Freiberg was Member of the Board & COO of Vonovia SE until May 2019, where he played a significant role in growing the company to become the largest non-state owned residential real estate owner in Europe. During his tenure, the company grew to around 10,000 employees. After leaving Vonovia, he became a business angel and founder & CEO of the company builder 1648 factory, as well as non-executive Chairman at ecoworks. Before Vonovia, Klaus Freiberg was Managing Director of the Arvato Group, where he optimized service centers of Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom.
