Christian Vollmann is a prominent figure in the German startup ecosystem as a founder and business angel. He began his career with the Samwer startups Alando and Jamba, later founding the dating portal iLove in 2003 and the video platform MyVideo in 2006. He then worked for eDarling as a participating Managing Director and subsequently founded nebenan.de, a social network for neighborly living. As a business angel, his investments include ResearchGate, Trivago, Moneybookers (Skrill), studiVZ, and Friendsurance. He was elected „Business Angel of the Year 2017“ and has over 50 active startup investments. Currently, he is the founder and CEO of the green methane startup C1 Green Chemicals.
