Ran Simha is a Managing Partner and Co-founder at New Era. He previously served as Economic & Technology Advisor at the Office of the President during the presidency of Shimon Peres, where he led numerous technological and scientific projects. Following the completion of the presidency of Shimon Peres, Ran assumed an integral role in the establishment of Peres and Associates advisory firm. Ran’s finance career began at Lehman Brothers and was followed by an Investment Manager position at Portland Capital Hedge Fund. He received his BA in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from UCL in the UK and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the US. In addition, he completed the investment management program at London Business School and an executive program at Harvard Business School. During his career, Ran has advised on numerous transactions in a range of fields. Ran also serves as co chairman of the innovation expo at the Israeli Innovation Center.
