Lorenzo De Angeli is a Principal at Matterwave Ventures. Prior to joining Matterwave, he was with the Boston Consulting Group for 10 years, where he advised utilities, energy companies, and infrastructure funds on decarbonization strategies in Milan, Mumbai, and Bangkok. He also served as an advisor to the Italian Government on Italy's Hydrogen Strategy and the deployment of EU cleantech investments. Earlier in his career, he worked on cleantech investments and developed nanostructured materials at Eni, supporting the vision of Rolando Polli's family office. Lorenzo was educated as a physicist and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Stuttgart and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.
