Lorenzo De Angeli is a Principal at Matterwave Ventures. He transitioned to Venture Capital from the Boston Consulting Group, where he advised utilities, energy companies, and infrastructure funds on decarbonizing their businesses across Milan, Mumbai, and Bangkok. During his 10 years at BCG, he advised the Italian Government on Italy's Hydrogen Strategy and the deployment of EU cleantech investments. He began his career executing cleantech investments and developing nanostructured materials at Eni for Rolando Polli's family office. Lorenzo was educated as a physicist, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Stuttgart and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.
