Giancarlo Rocchietti

Giancarlo Rocchietti is an entrepreneur, business angel, founder and President of the Club degli Investitori. After his degree in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico of Turin, in 1980 he founded Euphon, which became the leading independent operator in the multimedia sector in Italy, with a preeminent position in Europe. In the year 2000, Euphon was listed on the Italian stock exchange and in 2004 Giancarlo sold Euphon to a private equity investor. He has been President of Sviluppo Italia Piemonte, a government agency and then appointed President of Piemontech, the first regional government seed-capital fund in Italy. In 2008 he founded the Club degli Investitori, one of the main business angel networks in Italy, where he holds the position of President.
