Enrico De Maria

Enrico De Maria graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and trained professionally at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). From 1994 to 2002, he worked on corporate reorganization and system integration projects for major companies such as Iveco, Telecom Italia and ABB. In 2002, he became a co-founder of Advanced Accelerator Applications, a biotech company that pioneered Teragnostics in nuclear medicine. Enrico moved to France in 2002 to participate in defining the initial project and constructing the first production workshop. He later returned to Italy, where he developed and managed the Italian branch as CEO. The company was listed on Nasdaq in 2015 and acquired by Novartis in 2018. Enrico then decided to step down and embark on a new phase in 2019. He is currently an active investor with stakes in around 30 companies, seeking value through innovation in Italy and beyond (the US, Israel, France and the UK) across various sectors and fields, including life sciences, the circular economy and digital innovation. He sits on the board of directors of Astelav Spa and Ri-Generation Srl.
