Elad Frenkel is a Managing Partner at IL Ventures. Previously, he was the CEO of Aqwise, a global leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions, which was acquired by GES. He also served as a Principal & Director at Elron VC, where he was an investor and board member in several startups across different industry verticals. Elad is experienced in deal-making with Fortune 500 companies and is an expert in offset deals. He is the Chairman of the Water Sector Steering Committee at the Israeli Export Institute. Elad is a Major (Res.) at the IDF’s Unit 8200 and a Board Member of the Unit 8200 Alumni Association. He has been listed in rankings such as Globes Israel's 40 under 40 and Forbes.
