Steven Meersman is one of the Founders of Zenobē, where he leads the EV team, focusing on making ecologically sustainable options financially viable for fleet operators. Prior to Zenobē, Steven spent nearly two decades in battery and traded energy commodity markets. He was a Global Head of Deals Desk at Trafigura, leading commercial optimization and market risk management for refineries and import terminals across Africa and Central America. Before Trafigura, he was at Oliver Wyman, advising trading houses and utilities on asset-backed trading strategies and energy infrastructure investments. He began his career in batteries as part of the team that set up AES Energy Storage (now Fluence).
