Eryk Frontczak is a Venture Partner at Contrarian Ventures, focusing on sourcing early-stage climate tech deals in Poland. He previously spent three years at bValue, where he sourced over €20 million in closed investments. Currently, he is the Head of Carbon Farming at InSoil, where he bridges the financing and knowledge gap for farmers adopting regenerative practices and unlocks soil-based carbon revenue. Prior to venture capital, Eryk worked at a digital publishing startup that a Sony subsidiary later acquired. He holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Aberdeen. Outside of work, Eryk is a healthy movement and mobility enthusiast with a passion for basketball, long-distance cycling, and the occasional return to his classical roots on the violin.
