David Egido Nieto is a Vice President at Besant Capital, based in Madrid. He leads all aspects of new investments, including sourcing, due diligence, and deal structuring. Prior to joining Besant Partners, David worked as an M&A supervisor at PwC Corporate Finance in Madrid, where he participated in more than 10 deals in the energy sector, closing 3 of them for a combined deal volume of approximately €200 million. While at PwC, David was also part of the International Deals Graduate Programme, working as an analyst in several Deals Business Units including Corporate Finance, Valuations, Transaction Services, and Real Estate. Before PwC, David worked at Rivergo, a management consultancy firm advising on Commercial Due Diligence, Strategic and Business Plan definitions. David holds a master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from ICAI Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid. He has also passed levels I and II of the CFA program.
