He transitioned from a background as a biotechnologist to an investor, bringing cross-disciplinary industry experience in biopharma and healthcare consulting to drive deep science investments at the firm. Suraj holds a master's degree in bioprocess technology and previously worked in the biopharma industry, focusing on the development of monoclonal antibodies for cancer therapy. He also has experience in consulting projects within the cardiovascular medical devices and diagnostics industry. Outside of his investment work, Suraj is a writer of short stories and a part-time theatre artist, often performing in improv theatre shows.
