About

TsungYen Wu joined AdBio Partners in 2024 as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). He brings healthcare knowledge and a network in East Asia and Germany, expanding new markets, including local capital, regional research, and government authorities, into venture building and strategic partnerships. He has a track record of cross-border transactions from early development to clinical stage, including in-licensing, co-development, and company acquisitions. TsungYen spent over 10 years in academic research across Taiwan, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany, earning a PhD in T cell Immunology from Charité & DRFZ Berlin. In the past 5+ years, he has held investment roles such as Associate Director or CBO in cross-border transactions, focusing on East Asia and Europe. More recently, he co-founded SurBio+ in Berlin as the first EU office of Taiwanese investors focused on the EU healthcare industry. TsungYen is also a Venture Mentor at Max-Delbrück-Centrum Berlin, guiding young scientists into entrepreneurship.
