Daniel Cohen formally joined Accelmed in 2022 as a Venture Partner, after working with the firm for over a decade. He brings over 20 years of investment experience with successful Medtech & Biotech investments. Prior to joining Accelmed, Daniel founded his own investment consulting company, where he conducted analysis and execution of over 40 investment opportunities in the healthcare industry, particularly in medical devices, on behalf of major funds including Accelmed, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Orbimed, Pontifax, BRM, Peregrine, Alive, aMoon, and Milestone. Before that, Daniel was the General Manager of Fosun Pharma in Israel, where he was involved in large transactions including Alma Lasers, Kite Pharma, TytoCare, and CheckCap. Daniel began his career in PE & Venture Capital at Credit Agricole Private Equity, supporting both fund of funds and direct investment in Israel. He has a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics & Computer Engineering and an MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
